These three sheets are the contact sheets for my Circuit board photos that i took the first week of our Location Photography project.

Lino Print Experimental

Yesterday, i started experimenting with my scanned in lino prints. I've started experimenting with different fonts/colour for the typography (New York City) on the poster designs, i'll need to add city to the further experimental posters. I'll eventually then choose the poster design i like the most and use that as a final outcome for my Metropolis project.

These are lino prints that i started Wednesday last week for my final outcome.

More photography Experimental

This image is another example of my experimental work in this project. I took part of one of my circuit board images and placed it onto a photo i took of the Oxford City centre high street. I edited the background to make the sky a darker blue colour so the rest of the scenery stands out more.

Frans Masereel

These are examples from a woodcut artist called Frans Masereel, most of these images are featured in a book that i used for research called City: A Vision In Woodcuts by Thomas Mann which shows alot of examples from Frans Masereel. I like this artist because of how amazingly detailed his woodcuts are aswell as interesting, depicting different themes and influences within his work

Santiago Calatrava

These are visual examples of some of the buildings that the architect, Santiago Calatrava designed. I chose to include this architect out of the two other architects i researched because I think Calatrava's designs really stand out from other buildings and i like the amazing complex detail incorporated on the buildings.
