These photos are more examples from the photos i took in Oxford. I adjusted the brightness/contrast aswell as the hue/saturation of the photos so i can think about incorporating them into my experimental work on my Oxford photos

These are some of the photos that i took when i did the photo shoot in Oxford last week. I'm going to get some of them printed off and draw into them to mount onto an experimental sheet.

Metropolis Idea

For my Metropolis project, i have decided my pathway is Graphic Design and the title for my brief will be Advertising New York. For my outcome i came up with the idea of designing a poster in the style of tourist attraction for New York, i was possibly thinking about having one done graphically on Photoshop and a second design that will be painted but i'm going to see how things go..

Guide to New York video

I added this video to the blog, which like the image of New York underneath, can relate to my Metropolis project. It is fairly long but useful video of a narrated guide of New York City. It is also useful as it shows certain main tourist attractions in New York City which i could research into for my project.

New York

This is an image i might use for research/referencing to when starting my Metropolis project. I like the style of the writing above the city, which reminds me of Art Deco and the fact that it shows the New York skyline at night, i think it makes the city stand out more, especially the World Trade Center in this image which i won't use in my final outcome as they ain't part of the skyline anymore.

Moleskin Sketch

This is a sketch i did earlier in my moleskin from an image of the New York skyline i had. I outlined the buildings and filled in the shadowed areas with fineliner to make it stand out.

New York

This is an image i found on Google. It shows a great view of New York at night and from the angle it's been taken, looks really effective. I especially think the way that the colours from the city lights reflect in the water looks beautiful.
